Our company is planning to license SAS Integration Technologies and
install IOM server to access Oracle database in a client/server
environment.As I am new to SAS/IT,I would be glad if anybody can tell
me what are the minimum system requirements (hard disk space,memory
etc) to install IOM bridge server and Metadata server on a Solaris 5
platform.

IOM and SAS Metadata server will be relatively small (<100 MB of
memory) on Solaris if you are not using DI Studio. Each user running
SAS is likely to have a bigger footprint on your server.
