From: John Barnes on 23 Nov 2006 12:01 Which RAID controllers do you have installed. Do you have a PCI card for some SATA disks? If so what brand is it? From: Carlos on 23 Nov 2006 12:26 Corsar: That RAID is "Promise 378 S-ATA RAID" according to the "PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3373" supplied below. Is it embedded in your motherboard? What motherboard do you have? Have you gone to the mobo manufacturer site? Is it an add-on card? From: Charlie Russel - MVP on 23 Nov 2006 12:52 If this is a motherboard embedded RAID card, and you're not using it as a RAID controller, but just have straight SATA drives attached or have no drives attached to it all then you can ignore the ? mark in device manager. -- Charlie. http://msmvps.com/xperts64 "Corsair" <corsair63(a)gmail.com> wrote in message news:OG2UW4xDHHA.3224(a)TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... > in my Device Manager I've with the mark "?" the next item: > RAID Controller. > > I can found anywhere the driver for this for xp-64 > > what I can search in the tab is the following: > Id. of hardware: > PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3373&SUBSYS_80F51043&REV_02\3&267A616A&0&40 > > Hardware identifier: > PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3373&SUBSYS_80F51043&REV_02 > PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3373&SUBSYS_80F51043 > PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3373&CC_010400 > PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3373&CC_0104 > > Compatibles identifiers > PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3373&REV_02 > PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3373 > PCI\VEN_105A&CC_010400 > PCI\VEN_105A&CC_0104 > PCI\VEN_105A > PCI\CC_010400 > PCI\CC_0104 > > can anybody help me find this driver for xp-64, I'm nearly crazy because I > found nothing for 64. > --- > regard / Corsair > >
From: "Dennis Pack" dennispack at hotmail dot on 23 Nov 2006 13:28 Corsair: If you have the FastTrac 378 chipset on your motherboard go to http://www.promise.com/support/download/download2_eng.asp?productId=108&category=driver&os=0&go=GO, the first file for the FastTrac S150 TX is the file that you need. It's still a beta release but it works with x64. It won't work with Vista x64 because it isn't signed.
