From: Mike on 8 Jul 2010 14:14 Thanks guys. Unfortunately, I have found out that a VM doesn't work that way, and I now have two things to figure out. How to get the single drive working, and what is the procedure to add a 2nd drive to the box, and how to retate them around without messing up the Backup operations. From: Brian Cryer on 9 Jul 2010 07:34 You probably ought to have at least 3 external USB drives so you can ensure that 1 is off site at any time. My worse case scenario is a fire which destroys the office including last night's backup and the backup I was about to swap it for. So you don't want to be caught with only two drives and risk having them both lost. Otherwise, agreed, I too use this type of scenario and it works really well. -- Brian Cryer http://www.cryer.co.uk/brian "Jim" <jim(a)nospam.com> wrote in message news:pqvb36d8j61tgoq29s8quu5te7lkdoe7ts(a)4ax.com... > If it helps, we use exactly that methodology on our physical SBS 2008 > servers.
