I forgot to mentioned that I had bad experience with the network manager of KDE in the past....... so apart from that..... as you recommended I try the network manager again within using the KDE 4.4.4 ...... and what shall I say ............ yep .. it works for me to and I can switch my profile between "work" and "home".... As you say .... I only switch my lan-connection .... and nothing more ..... thx for your hint. Maybe do you know if OpenSuSE will bring the "scpm" package to 11.3?
