From: Sushma on 15 Jan 2009 08:24 Hi All, I have PCI memory card reader supporting SD/MMC and MS/MS-Pro memory cards. For SD/MMC memory cards SD host bus driver gets loaded for enumerating SD/MMC cards. When i used SD card, Secure Digital Storage Device is loaded. When i see the driver details from Drivers tab, sffp_sd.sys driver is installed for the SD Card. When i used MMC card sffp_mmc.sys is installed. This happens for windows XP x86 with SP3. However when i did the same in windows XP x64 with SP2, SD was loaded successfully but MMC card was not detected. When i looked at <ROOT> \system32\drivers folder sffp_mmc.sys did not exists. I would like to know if MMC card was supported for Windows XP x64. Is there any hotfix for enumerating MMC card? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks and Regards, Sushma

I posted the same query to Microsoft. In reply they said, sffp_mmc.sys is not supported for Windows XP x64. Thank You. Regards, Sushma |
