I agree - just sell us the sequencer, and let us pick our own plugins.

Sue - that sux big time - even with NTFS!

Steve L - You're right, there *must* be a way to make it work. One idea - does it work in another
host if SONAR is installed on the PC? If not, there *must* be a registry entry to make it work. I
fully agree that we've paid for tyhe plugin, as it's bundled in with the SONAR price - so it must be
"legal" to use it outside SONAR.

Yesterday, I went over to Kjaerhus http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/
I downloaded their free Classic Compressor, Delay, Chorus, and EQ and tried
them all out.
I liked them all, especially for free. So I went back and downloaded the
Golden Audio Channel
which is Sonar's Vintage channel with just a different skin and GUI. They
said they wanted $200.00 but it downloaded just like all of their free plugs
but differently like it was a bigger application. I was able to get it to
work just fine in Reaper. Nowhere did it say it was crippled in any way.

So I am using it and am loving the results and am thinking they are now just
giving it away for free until when I clicked on About in this tiny little
area it said 14 day trial; we will see if it shuts down then.

I use and love that plug also.
I'm betting it will ask for a serial number after 14 days.
