From: Lieuwe Huisman on 6 Apr 2010 09:19 Hi there, We have configured SQL Server reporting service 2008 to use SSL over an alternate port. Everything is available for our customers over the internet, even report builder works great. Of course we had to apply some tricks to get the job done, but almost everything works fine. There are a few things we have to fix though. When accessing the report manager and trying to create a new datasource or trying to upload a file, reporting somehow decides to switch from https://www.mydomain.com:8443/ to http://www.mydomain.com/ Is there anybody who knows how this can happen and what I can do to fix this? Thanks in advance!
From: Lieuwe Huisman on 15 Apr 2010 07:25 A Short update, When setting the SecureConnectionLevel setting in rsreportserver.config from 0 to a higher level, it automatically translates to SSL, as I understood from several posts. SSL is good, but can I set the port it should us as well? If anyone has some more information, please let me know. Thanks again!
