From: Jenny White on 14 Dec 2009 14:40 I am running XP with SP4 and SQL 2K SP4. I have TCPIP6 deselected in network protocols and I get this ERROR when starting SLQ 2K <<< Error from Event Log SuperSocket info: FillAddress(MSAFD Tcpip [TCP/IPv6]) : Error 0. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. >>> <<< Error from Event Log SuperSocket info: (SpnRegister) : Error 1355. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. >>> If I unbind IP6, I get the same error and/or warning. Also I get this warning with the same above configurations: There doesn't seem to be any problem connecting with the DB although I do appear to have some latency once in a while connecting. But once connected, all is well. Any suggestions?
