You are fine. When you use AWE with SQL Server 32-bit, the "extra" memory allocated through AWE does not display in the process list in Task Manager. But if Page File Usage is 5GB, SQL Server is really using the memory - unless you can see that some other process have all that memory. -- Erland Sommarskog, SQL Server MVP, esquel(a)sommarskog.se Links for SQL Server Books Online: SQL 2008: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/cc514207.aspx SQL 2005: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/bb895970.aspx SQL 2000: http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodinfo/previousversions/books.mspx

From: DBATAG on 13 Jun 2010 13:57 IF AWE is enabled, you can not see memory utilization in Task Manager. For more information about SQL Server Memory Management, visit this link http://sqlservertrainings.com/?p=71 Thanks DBATAG www.sqlServer-Training.com Email : info(a)sqlServer-Training.com
