From: Andreas Jacobi on 30 Mar 2010 05:10 Hi, When I try to run samba4 it doesn't output any errors but if i do an nmap portscan I see that some samba ports are not open, ex. 88 and 443 but others are like 135,139 and 445 are opened when I launch samba4. This ofcourse results in that samba4 doesn't work as a DC. I tried running samba with debug output and found the following error repeating itself a few times: (normal if no LDAP backend) Could not find entry to match filter: '(&(objectclass=ldapSecret)(cn=SAMDB Credentials))' base: '': No such object: (null) Another error showing up: INTERNAL ERROR: Signal 11 in pid 6349 (4.0.0alpha12-GIT-45f6eae)[Tue Mar 30 10:57:27 2010 CEST, 0 ../lib/util/fault.c:164:fault_report()] I have no firewall or anything blocking these ports. In mid February I managed to get samba4 to work as a PDC, has the code perhaps been updated since? Any ideas?
