I am trying to figure out the scaling of the vector r (or rho, xp, affine parameter or spatial variable in the Radon domain) in the function *radon* that would be consistent with the analytical Radon transform of a function we already know, e.g. the Radon transform of the unit circle. What would this scaling be? In one of the online discussions, Mr. Steve Eddins has mentioned:

"The radon function scales the projections so that their sum is always the same as the sum of the pixel values in the image. Although this is a reasonable scaling, it is not what everyone wants. If you don't like the scaling, you can easily rescale the output of radon to suit your own needs."

Could you please be more specific about this scaling and how it could be changed?
