I have to laugh at this idea that carbon dioxide,a minor atmospheric gas, represents a global temperature dial hence the anti-Canute ideology that humans have total influence on climate. What the carbon dioxide/global temperature ideology actually does is expose the predictions/modelling agenda which began with Newton's distortions of astronomy and the attempt to fit orbital motion into right ascension, the astronomical equivalent of trying to fit a round peg into a square hole, specifically the 365 day 5 hour 49 minute orbital period of the Earth into the calendar based 365/366 day system. The climate frenzy is nothing, people running around shifting from 'warming' to 'climate change' without really comprehending that the conclusion is pretty grotesque and anti-Canute therefore it becomes a matter of stature insofar as the first organisation to openly state that No,humans cannot control global temperatures within a certain range and spare our generation much embarrassment.

Well, obviously you haven't bothered to go view Sam the Sham's links to his favorite AGW promoting organizations. One of their "fact sheets" will certainly set you straight! You see, while it's true that CO2 is a very minor "greenhouse" gas, it nevertheless is true that CO2 IS A GREENHOUSE GAS! And I think that pretty much settles it. Only some VERY large taxes can save the world now from ourselves! |
