From: Bernard Liengme on 3 Mar 2010 09:08 I expect I could have worked with two sets of data using Paste Special but I put my data into a single table date Without With 1-Jan-09 2.2 #N/A 1-Feb-09 5.36 #N/A 1-Mar-09 10.28 #N/A 25-Mar-10 #N/A 0.2 28-Mar-10 #N/A 1.5 31-Mar-10 #N/A 2.5 2-Apr-10 #N/A 3.25 5-Apr-10 #N/A 4.65 Made an XY chart Put the With data on a secondary y-axis Using ChartTools | Format | Axes | Axes, I add a secondary x-axis I then adjusted the scales of the two x-axes Email me (get address from website), ask for DoubleDate workbook and I will send you a file best wishes -- Bernard Liengme Microsoft Excel MVP http://people.stfx.ca/bliengme "Fuzzy" <Fuzzy(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:0ACEBEA2-BC7F-46BF-B33B-E3445AD2449D(a)microsoft.com... > I have the following sample data.... > > > COL-1 COL-2 > Month Cumulative Revenue (Without help) > Jan-09 2.20 > Feb-09 5.36 > Mar-09 10.28 > > > COL-3 COL-4 > Dates Cumulative Revenue (With Help) > Mar-25 0.20 > Mar-28 1.50 > Mar-31 2.50 > Apr-2 3.25 > Apr-5 4.65 > > I want to show ONE CHART where the revenue trend with help has been better > than the months without help > > I tried using COL-1, COL-2 in primary axes and col 4 in secondary y axis. > I > am not able to put COL-3 into secondary horizontal axis. > > COuld you please help >
