From: MrPhats96 on 31 Oct 2009 22:31 About three weeks ago I did a windows update via Microsofts Windows update page. I downloaded several updates including Security Update for PowerPoint Viewer 2003 (KB969615). All of my downloads with the exception of Security KB969615 installed properly. I keep getting a message stating that this update can not be installed. I would like to remove this unistalled update from my computer so that I dont have a icon on my taskbar telling me install something I can not. I again went to the parent download site this evening and was advised that the Power Point download was ready t be installed. Why is microsoft telling to download updates that can not be installed?

It would be preferable to fix the problem that is preventing it from being installed than to ignore it. What error message do you get when you attempt to install it? Harry.
