Same problem, but running XP Media Center Edition. I don't see
MSSQL$SBSMONITORING in the Services box.... Some other MSSQL* services
but not an obvious alternative to MSSQL$SBSMONITORING...

Any suggestions?

[This is the first time I've ever RUN "services.msc", so I'm a little
gun-shy...]
