Sharepoint Engineer Architect in Belmont, MA (100-130K)

My client needs a resource to be a strong developer of Sharepoint 2007
or earlier versions and a strong grasp of the .Net Platform.
This will be 20% design and architecture, 50% development and 30%
dealing with user community in matters on Sharepoint user groups…Best
Practices are a huge plus.

The ideal candidate will:
•Apply strong .NET skills to the architecture design and development
of SharePoint-based intranets, extranets, and knowledge management
systems
•Participate in full project life cycle from pre-sales to deployment
•Resolve business and technical problems which require an intimate
knowledge of Microsoft development technologies including ASP.NET and
SQL Server
Experience Requirements:
•College Degree
•8+ years of intensive experience in the architecture, analysis,
design, implementation and support of web applications

Technical Requirements:
•Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint (Windows SharePoint Services and
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server), including installing and
deploying SharePoint and building SharePoint sites and web parts.
•Web development experience using C#, ASP.NET and Visual Studio .NET
•Experience designing and building databases using SQL Server
•Knowledge of JavaScript
•Knowledge of web services.

Desired Experience and Skills:
• Previous consulting experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytic skills
• Microsoft certification
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office object model (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint)
• Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services and Reporting Services
