So you are saying that this isn't some sort of "overunity" or "free energy"
device (code words for perpetual motion machines without using that
phrase) ?

If so, it looks like one of the synchronous converter devices that convert
between AC and DC, or AC of different frequencies, like what they once
used for the NYC subway system a century ago.
