From: Sagi on 24 Mar 2006 11:32 We are noticing this error in our Sendmail whenever i do not recieve the emails from a couple of our clients. The same email is recieved by the personal email accounts like yahoo and gmail without any issues. The message we see in the logs is Mar 23 23:35:40 mercury sendmail[3972]: k2O4YLC03972: collect: premature EOM: Error 0 Mar 23 23:35:40 mercury sendmail[3972]: k2O4YLC03972: collect: unexpected close on connection from abc.xyz.com, sender=<1234(a)xyz.com>: Error 0 Mar 23 23:35:40 mercury sendmail[3972]: k2O4YLC03972: from=<1234(a)xyz.com>, size=664, class=0, nrcpts=2, proto=SMTP, daemon=MTA, relay=abc.xyz.com [IP1.IP2.IP3.IP4] I have gone through the forums and the FAQ, however my question is if the sender SMTP server is prematurely ending the message, how is it working with Yahoo and Gmail. I have also tried changing the MTU but it was of no use. I have earlier noticed that if the email has many attachments or a big subject i am getting this error. However i am not happy with this conclusion. Can anyone throw some light on this issue please. Thanks Sagi
