Windows xp pro servce pack 2

I keep getting this error when I run chkdsk followed by the BSOD Stop error
0x00000071. The only way back is reboot last known working choice then it
runs fine again. One of these times I don't think its going to come back.
The knowledge base only has 2 mentions of it a web server error and a windows
2000 isssue, any help would be appreciated
