From: Patti Barden on 25 Mar 2010 07:56 Sorry, I meant OE>accounts>mail and added a new account. I set up a new account. Then went to Identities and followed the prompts using same info as I had just put in to set up the new account. I can go to Identities and switch the identity to open in a new OE folder. I tried to send an email from here but get an error message that the recipient is not accepted. Somewhere along the line I am misunderstanding. I've tried several combinations but always get the same error. You do one or the other. Remove the new account completely and reboot. Open OE and in the current identity: File | Identities | Add New Identity and follow the prompts. Do not add it via Tools | Accounts. You only do it that way if you want both addresses to use the same identity. It must have a different OE logon password than the old identity as well. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP [Mail] Imperial Beach, CA "Patti Barden" <patti(a)freeola.com> wrote in message news:OXTbuIBzKHA.244(a)TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > Sorry, I meant OE>accounts>mail and added a new account. > I set up a new account. > Then went to Identities and followed the prompts using same info as I > had just put in to set > up the new account. > > I can go to Identities and switch the identity to open in a new OE > folder.
