From: shanesullaway via AccessMonster.com on 25 Mar 2010 11:21 Hello, I would like to generate purchase orders from my price quote form (frmPQ). On the price quote form is price quote details (frmPQDetails) (continuous form). The price quote details lists all of the items that the user has chosen to be quoted to our customer. Each record on price quote details will contain the VendorID that manufactures the product. The VendorID can and most of the time will be listed multiple times in the price quote details. I would like to create a way that our ordering clerk can order from the price quote once the quote has been authorized. My idea's are to create a separate subform or maybe a list box that would list the different Vendors choosen within price quote details. This would allow me to navigate to a new purchase order for a specific Vendor and take just the records from the price quote details that match that Vendor. My problem is I don't have enough experience to figure out how to take the vendors listed in the price quote details and only list them one time in the purchase order set up subform. I hope this makes sense and someone can push me in the right direction to pull this off. TIA for any help provided, Shane Example: Price Quote Sunrise Medical Quickie2 wheelchair Sunrise Medical Height Adjustable Armrest Sunrise Medical HD Lift Off Hangers Freedom Designs Solid/Planar Seat Cushion Freedom Designs Solid/Planar Back Cushion Whitmyer 10" Plush Headrest What shows up in the purchase order set up would be: Sunrise Medical Freedom Designs Whitmyer -- Message posted via AccessMonster.com http://www.accessmonster.com/Uwe/Forums.aspx/access-formscoding/201003/1
