From: BAS on 27 Nov 2006 11:42 Hi , For the past some days i could see the below error on my diag logs, MESSAGE : Unable to create or attach to the segment used for fenced routine communications. Decrease the amount of database shared memory used by your instance, and try again FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, routine_infrastructure, sqlerGetFMPIPC, probe:40 RETCODE : ZRC=0x850F0005=-2062614523=SQLO_NOSEG "No Storage Available for allocation" DIA8305C Memory allocation failure occurred. The environment is Aix 5.3 ML2 and db2 8.2 with fixpack 10...Can someone help how to avoid these shared memory errors, we cannot reduce the shared memroy as we normally run huge batch jobs which may require big shared memory. Thanks & Regards, Baskar
