From: web-betty on 25 Feb 2007 18:36 I don't have the .dwt file open in any other application. What would be the point of opening a Dreamweaver specific file in another application? I have even gone so far as to close EVERY application on my computer, then re-open Dreamweaver. I've cleared my browser cache, thinking maybe the problem has to do with caching the file if I preview it in a browser. I've also looked for hidden temp files. Same problem. I go to make a change to the .dwt file and get a sharing violation when I go to save.
From: Murray *ACE* on 25 Feb 2007 20:24 Are you on a standalone workstation or a LAN. If the latter, then I'd tend to think there was some LAN policy that may be getting in the way of things. What is it you are trying to do when you get this error, by the way? -- Murray --- ICQ 71997575 Adobe Community Expert (If you *MUST* email me, don't LAUGH when you do so!) ================== http://www.dreamweavermx-templates.com - Template Triage! http://www.projectseven.com/go - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.dwfaq.com - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.macromedia.com/support/search/ - Macromedia (MM) Technotes ================== "web-betty" <webforumsuser(a)macromedia.com> wrote in message news:ert6i0$9ne$1(a)forums.macromedia.com... >I don't have the .dwt file open in any other application. From: mamax711 on 5 Mar 2007 01:15 it is because we cannot preview .dwt file in IE6.0 in fact, i don't know the solution of the problem. the only way that never touch F12 when you are using .dwt file
