From: Dudley Hanks on 1 Nov 2009 18:37 Just got off the phone with a rep from Ford. The company is going to help me shoot a series of shots of their new high performance offerings. They're even game enough to let me get behind the wheel and take one down the track, but I'm not sure that's gonna happen... That would take a fair bit of nerve to make it work... Regarding the pics, any last minute advice on techniques / lighting / composition? Take Care, Dudley

Instead of all shots being tack-sharp stop-motion, you could do some emphasizing speed.

Thanks, Rich, it never would have happened without the enthusiastic support of Alan Mulally (Ford's President / CEO) and Karen Hampton (Ford's development and public affairs strategist). They've been incredible. I've been thinking about outdoor shots, and, they're going to be interesting, since Edmonton will soon be knee-deep in snow. I'm thinking the series may have to build up through smaller component segments to the full-deal action shots next spring. Take Care, Dudley |
