Because some may want individual pages 'shrunk to fit'... I've tried to 'Shrink One Page', but an error that read, "After several attempts, Word was unable to shrink the document by one page." Surely, there is a way to condense all content to one page, regardless of how distorted it might be.. Your assumption is correct: the command basically reduces the point size for all text so that the document will be one page smaller. As you have seen, the approach has limitations. If you want to reduce the size of a single page, you can do so manually.
