I've been very happy with 11.2 until now. Happened to me last night, had to do a hard reboot. At the time I had something like 6 mounted partitions including a 32gb usb stick on which the file transfer had hung (can't tell which caused which). One of the mounted partitions was an 11.2 test installation. Neither of the 3-finger salutes worked, keyboard/mouse locked out. 500gb sata disk, asus board, 2gb ram, amd64 running 32 bit system 11.2/kde4 all update.

From: fucku on 24 Jan 2010 04:26 We know what needs fixing. Yes, I have found a solution. This problem started on your PC on Thursday because it was Thursday, 21 Jan, the day before Friday. It's mysterious, but ordinary.
