same sensor but different image processing chip, new shutter and other
changes, none of which fix the fatal flaws in the chip itself. it's
going to fail in a lot more ways than the sd14 did.

Lens profits must be really good if they have enough money to spend on this.

apparently so. some of the recent sigma lenses aren't all that cheap
either.

and in a few months after pitiful sales, the price of the sd15 will be
slashed and the inventory dumped, just like the sd14. many of the
fanbois don't even think it's enough of an improvement to upgrade and
if they're not going to buy it, who is?

dares to say something negative there, they blast them to hell. they've
