I model a simple crankshaft with one pivot connection to the ground. A torsional damper at the pivot maintains my crankshaft in the centered position as long as no Force is applied to its other extremity. I want to impose an angle of orientation of the shaft at its pivot and read the force required at the other extremity of the shaft to maintin it in this position. How can I do this with SimMechanics?

My problem is that when I impose an angle at the pivot, I can read the required torque to reach this angle but then there is no need for a force at the shaft`s extremity that is returned as equal to zero...

Thanks for your help.
