Am hoping that someone may know of similar free ware to TracePro - Optical
and Illumination Design Software.

OOps ........ it is for my son ....... he just got a new ASUS laptop Core
i3 .... Win 7 Ultima Home Premium 64 bit - 4GB Ram
500 GB HD ..... can't offhand remember the graphic card .... but think it
also has GB memory on it. Think he is looking for as many features as
possible similar to the TracePro.
He's the engineer (just starting out) not me ...... course he's out right
now so can't ask him what is truly essential. Any leads would be
appreciated.

Hav'nt any knowledge about TracePro, here is a start, have put the
keyword "engineer" into the freeware section of search.

2 pages.

Change the > Filter by license: to GPL & you will get 4 programs.
