From: divoch on 6 May 2010 11:45 I have it set up to start automatically on switch on but on my S2 it often fails to do so and I have to go through login. There is a message something like we cannot connect you... try later. My wife on her S2, bought at the same time, does not seem to have that problem. Any ideas what could be the reason? Is it fault? divoch

Is it fault? > > divoch My guess is your phone has had a Skype update forced on it and your wife's hasn't Have a look at the version number (options - about) There was nothing wrong with Ver 2.9.12 which was on my phone when I got it. It does not seem to be the explanation in this case. Both mine and wife's Skype version is 3.80.0.2. The main difference is in usage. She does not use Skype on PC while I do use it in parallel with S2 being switched on. And she uses Skype only to communicate with me. divoch |
