cannot answer 'as to why they have a default configuration makes that
necessary'.
I did think that you had already recompiled and made changes since
your original post read: "I have tried the suggestions at..", I simply
pointed out a glaring inconsisteny in the link you provided; anyway,
good luck with your 'quest'.

Sorry for the confusion. I meant I had tried the suggestions that
indicated they would work without having to recompile. Thanks for your
responses.
