Thanks Matt fig, is it possible to change in the GUI builder property inspector ?
and S = uicontrol('style','slider','pos',[10 10 100 20]);
set(S,'position',[10 10 20 100])
i will put them under function slider_CreateFcn(hObject, eventdata, handles) ???
