Got the following information from emacs using ECL:

;; Swank started at port: 53551
#<a SLIME-INPUT-STREAM> is not of type STREAM.
Broken at SI:TOP-LEVEL. No restart available.

Any one has the same behavoir?

Works fine here with emacs CVS 23.1.90.4, slime CVS 2010-60-10 and
ecl 10.40.1. Probably don't help but who knows...

What Slime and ECL versions? I've got it running on Windows with a
Slime from CVS (from a few days ago; a version from a couple of months
ago didn't work), ECL 10.4.1 and Emacs 23.
