Ah - a possible solution: if you have Audio Hijack installed and you're
getting these messages then try uninstalling SoundFlower and/or
InstantHijack. I've done this and so far the messages have gone away.

kexts, eh?

Audio Hijack does something naughty, apparently. It's said to
intercept library calls substituting its own functions for them. I
thought SoundFlower operated differently, though, and was a
bit less of a horrid hack. Am I wrong about that?

Note: I have had similar messages, but all related to actual use
of gdb, which, as the message says, is "not abnormal for debuggers".

Maybe not. I uninstalled SoundFlower, still got the messages, then
uninstalled Instant Hijack and haven't had them since.

However, for a wee while now I've been getting the occasional message from
Software Update that Sound Flower wasn't installed properly and was causing
a problem, so off it came. I may try reinstalling it but it's not something
I currently have a use for.

Thanks.
