From: Dave U. Random on 19 Jun 2010 23:39 If someone is 100% a rotten swine, a single percentage point or two taken away from that 100% hardly matters. You might say that Raid/Dustin Cook is 98.99% a swine. Hardly makes a difference does it?

Not to be nitpicking, but it's me you owe the apology too; not folks in general. :) In so far as rotten swine goes.. the post with an address you made the other day puts you in the same place I was in a few years ago. An outing, is an outing, regardless of the intent in doing it. And no matter how you slice it, it's a rotten thing to do. I know, as i've been accused of doing it myself; and unlike you, I had an indirect hand in it, not, alas a direct one, like yourself. Besides, as has been pointed out to you several times now, your drinking koolaid if you think the things I wrote as raid were all real or should have been taken as such. Another poster pointed that out to you. Here's what the individual said (which you for whatever reason, still choose to ignore); You'd probably still be trying to claim I wrote the snuff post if so many others hadn't called you on the misattribution. Same with the other one you did. Your jumping the gun and I've noticed. :) Anyways, heres the post which sums it all up for you. Just the one misattributed posts in a mass of > correct ones. In a previous post, I likened usenet to an RPG like Leisure Suit Larry. RAiD was an online persona, I can't think of any reason to accept those as "real" even though they are "genuine" posts. The internet was not "real" for many people - it was a place to live out a fantasy, especially when there was a feeling that anonymity was possible *and* everlasting. Of course now, the internet is more *real* for people than actual reality is - consider the rise in cyber-bullying and the young people commiting suicide over writing on their "wall". I feel even the genuine posts are being used by the spammer to mislead the public IOW they are "lies" in that they are being portrayed as *real*. It is obvious to most of us that Dustin had 'turned over a new leaf' so to speak (ten years ago) and bringing up those posts (with accompanying 'color commentary') is just as disengenuous as repeatedly bringing up the missattributed post by Rebecca. Judging by current behavior, Dustin seems much more trustworthy than PCButts does. For all I know, PCButts may have been a trustworthy person ten years ago - it is their behavior *now* that counts. -- The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see. Hey! I was generous with you, I only listed two of your fuckups. You have a couple of more. You know what tho? I'm willing to let the address go, and all of these pointless threads go, no harm no foul, If you'll just tell me what your reason was for doing it in the first place? Thanks for whatever consideration you give to my proposel. -- The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see. Hey! The other side of the mountain was all that he could see!
