You can miss on topic posts that way. I think it is more in the spirit of usenet to see unwanted spam than to miss relevant posts. Arne

Same here. Google is pretty much the only spammer on Usenet, and it's because they "use the algorithm" rather than actually support their products. -- I won't see Google Groups replies because I must filter them as spam
