You no longer have spell checking capabilities in some languages in Outlook Express 6.0 after you install the 2007 Microsoft Office system: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932974 Outlook Express cannot use the MS Word spell check in Office 2007. Downloading a free spell check is the simplest way around this. Vampirefo Spell Check. Download it from Major Geeks: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2952 Or download it from SnapFile: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/spelloe.html Or you may like TinySpell. (Checks the spelling as you type). Download it here: http://www.tinyspell.m6.net/ Australian English Spell Check (Also suitable for other English speaking countries.) http://www.justlocal.com.au/clients/oespellcheck/ If you have a previous version of Office, see this: http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2006/20061228.htm -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP [Mail] Imperial Beach, CA "ROBT RICCI" <rwricci(a)verizon.net> wrote in message news:e0DWvSwjKHA.340(a)TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > Hi: My spelling checker in msn does not work any more, When I go to > Select spelling checker settings and select a spelling dictionary only > French dictionaries are available not English which is what I want. > I have Microsoft Word on my computer and the spell cheker there wirks > fine.( in English, of course) > > Bob >
