Hello,

I have a set of 3-D data (x,y,z) that correspond to a curve in 3-space. My task is to find a function that fits this data so that I may interpolate the data at user-defined points.

I am lost as how to extract this information from a spline. Also, I have tried John D'Errico's function polyfitn with undesired results.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
