From: Gunther Kint on 12 Mar 2010 05:10 Hi, I'm making a database in Access 2007. I had made a startform to easy find all the forms. In the options of Access I have found the option to set this form as a startform so if I open the database, you will see this startform with a couple of buttons. Now I want to have this situation, but one step further. I want as a result that if I open the database, this is opened like a program. So I don't want to see the objects on the left and the tabpages on the top to edit the database. Is this possible to do, and if yes, how do I do this? Thanks for responding.
From: Allen Browne on 12 Mar 2010 05:59 To hide the navigation pane (left), go to: Office button | Access Options | Current Database and uncheck the box for: Display Navigation Pane. On the same screen, you can specify what ribbon/toolbars are permitted. Alternatively, just use Ctrl+F1 to toggle the ribbon. -- Allen Browne - Microsoft MVP.
