From: Pascal Schulthess on 7 May 2010 10:19 Hi everyone, I was surprised to not find a out-of-the-box way to calculate the steady states of a SimBiology model. Or did I miss something? Thanks a lot!
From: Arthur Goldsipe on 7 May 2010 14:48 Hi Pascal, I also responded to your previous post, but I wanted to make sure you see a response even if you only look at this thread. Anyway, your aren't overlooking anything. Unfortunately, SimBiology does not yet automatically support the calculation of steady states. In some cases, it is a tricky problem. Some models have multiple steady states, some have no steady states because they are oscillatory or chaotic. How would you expect SimBiology to behave in those cases? However, steady state analysis is still quite useful for many models, so it is a feature we are considering for the future.
