I have opted for a simpler solution given by Martin-S the time scale I
have short....

I will explore Graphic Convertor and your solution once I have this
outta way, it will have my holidays off to the Far East on Weds,
Thailand, Vietnam. Cambodia visiting family and friends....

Just make sure the images are laid out flat on the disc and not in any
sub-folders like so...

Image Disc

- image-001.jpg
- image-002.jpg
- image-003.jpg


You can actually use the full-size images, but then the DVD player will
perform the scaling on-the-fly and that takes extra time, so it's best
to scale them down in advance.
