From: BobS on 11 Apr 2010 23:52 New to Quicken and using 2010 Home / Business version. Have account set up so it downloads from the on line account but can't figure out how to setup the ESPP account in Quicken. The Wizard is only allows for one input. I have stock purchases from previous years and without having those, the account does not tally correctly. Not expecting someone to give step by step instructions but a reference to an explanation on how to setup an ESPP account would be nice. Bob S.

In Quicken click Help > Quicken Help. Click Tab Search Quicken Help. copy and paste "ESPP account"(without quotes), Click Ask. Click the one topic found. Print the topic, Follow instructions. Help is the first place to ask questions about any Windows Program. May not be much help, but you can always ask anyway. -- CSM1 http://www.carlmcmillan.com

Got 13 topics found and read them all. It has you entering your paycheck as a register transaction. No paycheck transactions required for this account (paid up - so to speak) but earning money still. But I get the jist of the idea and may have to still setup the paycheck account and just not make any entries. Right now I have it entered as a stock account and update it manually. Guess that is the only way to do this one. Thanks for your time and effort. Bob S.
