From: Bearcat Bc on 2 Feb 2010 18:05 About once a week after a XP SP3 Home Edition computer (Dell Dimension 8300 2.5gb ram, two HD's) has been running non stop I get the "blue screen" with the following errors: Stop 0x000000F4 0x00000003 0x88A69544 0x8060567E Possible remedy listed to disable BIOS caching or shadowing but neither option is listed in BIOS configuration. and sometimes these: Stop 0x88AB0858 0x88AB09cc 0x8060567E The computer will always restart and run for a week or so without any issues. The event viewer errors don't seem to reflect the issue. The issue first started a couple of weeks after putting it on a home network (a couple of months ago). At same time I changed out system battery (very carefully). Also at same time I installed print drivers for two network printers with no problems encountered. Any ideas would be welcomed. Thanks, Bc

From: Bearcat Bc on 3 Feb 2010 11:34 Thanks. This will take some time to maybe pin point the problem. I will follow up on my results. Seems like the right path Bc "Rich Barry" <rbarry(a)socal.rr.com> wrote in message news:OdvNqtLpKHA.1548(a)TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > Bc, take a look here > > http://www.techspot.com/vb/all/windows/t-65491-STOP-0x000000F4-Error.html > > > "Bearcat Bc" <bearcat(a)msn.com> wrote in message > news:OBnuAxFpKHA.5328(a)TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... >> About once a week after a XP SP3 Home Edition computer (Dell Dimension >> 8300 2.5gb ram, two HD's) has been running non stop I get the "blue >> screen" with the following errors: >> Stop 0x000000F4 >> 0x00000003 >> 0x88A69544 >> 0x8060567E Possible remedy listed to disable BIOS caching or >> shadowing but neither option is listed in BIOS configuration. >> >> and sometimes these: >> Stop 0x88AB0858 >> 0x88AB09cc >> 0x8060567E >> The computer will always restart and run for a week or so without any >> issues.
