From: Mary on 17 Mar 2010 12:37 I have a word document (office 2000) that has a horizontal line drawn in it as a divider and I can't figure out how to get rid of it! It won't let me just highlight and delete it. It seems to be imbedded in the document somehow. Can anyone help?
From: Suzanne S. Barnhill on 17 Mar 2010 12:42 It's a border. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/CantGetRidOfLine.htm -- Suzanne S. From: JaneH on 17 Mar 2010 12:45 Hi Mary, The line may have been created by AutoFormat As You Type (type a hyphen symbol 3 times and then press enter) so try clicking in front of the horizontal line and pressing your delete key three times.
