Running SL 10.6.2 on a MacBook with Safari 4.0.4

I am trying to save a series of 18 segments in .flv and burn them for a
friend with a dial-up connection.

On segment one, I listened to it and the sound was fine all the way
through. Then I downloaded the file with RP Downloader. Then played it
back with QT v 10.0. The sound cut out from 2:48 - 5:39 and then
started up again and was normal. I tried playying it back with MPEG
Streamclip and had the same deal. Went back to youtube and did it again
with the same results. Sound normal all the way through on the stream,
then lost at exactually the same place on the playback. The video was
fine throughout.

The clip is:

Does anyone know what is going on and if there is a work around?

TIA

I've downloaded that using cclive and it plays fine.

Have you tried some of the other download tools mentioned over in the
"Download Youtube" thread?

I downloaded both the MP4 and the flv version. The MP4 version plays
fine but the flv version loses the sound at about 2:40.

Thanks. I didn't know that youtube offered mp4 versions. How does one
access them? How did you save it to your HD?

Well, I am not savvy enough to use command line interfaces, and Abby
seems to be only written for windows. Can someone suggest a better
alternative to RP Downloader for Snow Leopard with a graphic interface.
