For example your numbers are in cells: C1:C10. So in Cells B1:b10 enter 1 to indicate the selected cells you want for addition purposes. Then your formula in E11 might look something like this: =SUMIF(B1:B10,"=1",C1:C10) The above formula says that if cells in B1:B10 are equal to 1, then add all corresponding cells in C1:C10 hth
