Thanks.

No matter what setting adjustment I make, I can't get this app to stop
trying to install at start-up. I keep the exe & install, run,&
uninstall every three weeks.

Thank you FredW! Just what I was looking for when I figured I'd take a
peek here before googling or turning ot the PWH site. Just got a new
laptop with win 7 (home prem) and without having my file archives
handy where I am now, I'm having a hard time just remembering the
names of the programs I usually install - when setting it (win 7) up
now :)

PS: Had to drop My <broadpark.no> accounts, going hotmail for mail now
and still using <news.indivdual.net> for Usenet news.

All you need to do is download, install, then go to Preferences and
uncheck the part about SAS starting when Windows starts. Works for me on
WinXP SP3, all updates.

Thanks but I have tried that & it does not work.( I have Real Time
Protection unchecked also.)WinPatrol shows it in start-up.
That is why I originally wrote " No matter what setting adjustment I
make, I can't get this app to stop
trying to install at start-up."
