What sweatlodge?

I don't know them. I hold Einstein, Marx, Gandi, Hawking, etc as
hocus-pocus charlatans.

But in this particular case the individual is under tight medical and
secular supervision. Unlike the examples you gave earlier - perhaps.
So in this case you are not only doubting the man himself, but the
process that is supervising it. Which I may say, is highly
respected. The DRDO is a very big organisation - in fact, it was our
company's major client back in India, when they ordered radar antenna
development which I worked on. I wouldn't dare to say that the DRDO
is a hoax, any more than an USAn would hold DoD a hoax.

Fair enough.

This same phenomena has been noted in other religions,
"Living by the grace of God" but it does show how matter can
be overcome by the mind and spirit, and by insanities and
delusions.
We ourselves experimented with this and managed a two week
fast, and then were able to run a marathon, fully fit, and
fully healthy.
Food like anything else is an illusion.

a bra on or even a top on would be an illusion too.

The guy is unlikely to be a Jain.

For one his surname Jaanii is very Hindu(Gujarati) and there is no
concept of Maataajii (Mother Goddess) among Jains.

Wrapped as we are in illusion, forgetting the Divine Nature of our
true selves, we cast ourselves in a whirlpool of sorrow, under the
leadership of various slimy sorts, too painful to describe. To learn
how to laugh, defeats the purpose of the ruling bastards.
