Hello all,

I recently purchased 3 new hotswap drives to replace some smaller
hotswap drives that are used in a RAID5 Array. I need to find a way
to move this data off the RAID5 Array and then install and setup the
new drives and move the data back. Is there a way of doing this that
is easy and straightforward. Thanks.

Forgot to mention, this is also my DHCP server and print server.
Thanks

I assume you take regular backups of the server. The easiest way I can
imagine would be to take a full backup, and restore it to the newly installed
drives.

Why not replace one drive, rebuild, replace second drive, rebuild,
third drive, rebuild, then use the RAID manager to expand the RAID
using the additiona space. What hardware and/or software are you using
for RAID 5 (Dell Perc, Adaptec, Windows 2003, etc)?
