From: Nick on 17 Aug 2006 17:33 Hi I'm Running Windows 2003 Standard edition Server SP1, and have 16 clients running terminal services. We run a number of programs including a contact management system called ACT 6.0 The problem is that act constantly crashes on the client machines with the following error message Event Type: Error Event Source: Application Error Event Category: (100) Event ID: 1000 Description: Faulting application act.exe, version 6.0.3.979, faulting module ole32.dll, version 5.2.3790.2492, fault address 0x0002bae5. Has anyone seen this issue before? Kind regards Nick Saunders
From: Drew Hammond [MS] on 25 Aug 2006 19:10 Hi Nick, Application crashes are difficult to diagnose from the eventlog. I'd suggest you contact the makers of that piece of software to see if they have a solution for you. It might be there's an updated version that'll fix this problem. http://www.act.com/support/index.cfm Thanks, Drew -- Drew Hammond Terminal Services Developer in Test TS team blog: http://blogs.msdn.com/ts This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
